Call for Proposals for the 2017 Early Childhood Institute

The Early Childhood Institute provides advanced professional development for early education providers committed to improving the quality of and access to early childhood services for all children and families, prenatal to five.  The Early Childhood Institute is comprehensive and relevant to all whom touch early care and education, whether you are a teacher, a child care provider, a home visitor, a director, a trainer, a support service provider, a community partner, a librarian, a superintendent, principal or a school district board member. After all, with early childhood, it truly takes a village. This innovative institute will provide current, research-based strategies and pertinent information so that all will leave feeling empowered and fueled with knowledge, passion, and inspiration to lead.

* 4. Title of workshop: The title should be creative and grab attendees’ attention. The title is limited to 10 words and should be descriptive enough to give conference attendees an understanding of what the workshop will address.

The Governor's Office of Early Childhood would like to have a copy of your presentation and/or any relevant handouts to post on the website to provide to participants following the Early Childhood Institute. This provides an opportunity for participants to have access to all of the materials from the institute in one efficient space. Please indicate below if you agree to provide those to the GOEC.

* 15. As the presenter, I understand that I need to provide a laptop, projector and any additional audio visual needs that my workshop requires. I also understand that Wi-Fi is not provided and must be paid for separately if desired for the workshop. The Galt House will provide the projection screen and electrical strip in the room. In addition, the Governor's Office of Early Childhood will post all workshop materials PowerPoints, handouts, etc) but if the presenter desires to provide hard copies for the workshop, those must be brought by the presenter at their cost.
