Dear all,
the ECBC Covered Bond Fact Book has been the go-to reference guide for all things covered bonds for years. An integral part to each edition has been the investor article, a piece that is more important now than ever with the market having moved back to more normal waters after years of ECB dominance. Issuance volumes have surged in 2022 and 2023 and while 2024 has been slightly slower, we are still talking about large supply volumes. Equally, investor appetite broadened out with existing accounts becoming more active again and new investors discovering covered bonds.
We have run the almost identical survey for the past two years already (for the full article, please check out last year’s ECBC factbook). For this year’s edition, we have only taken out questions linked to the covered bond directive and added two questions on assessing relative value as well as the potential impact on covered bond markets from increased public sector spending on defence.
The survey will be open until 6 June 2025 and the anonymised results will be published as part of the ECBC Covered Bond Fact Book 2025.
Many thanks for your help!
