Purpose of Survey and Additional Engagement Opportunities
The purpose of this seven-question survey is to gather input from community members on potentially difficult decisions that the district may need to make in the coming years. This survey will be available until October 9, 2026.
As part of this effort, the district will also be hosting a Public Open House event on September 29th, from 6 to 8 PM, at the North High School Forum (1801 Piedmont Rd, Eau Claire, WI 54703) to answer questions, gather additional input, and provide an overview of the broader process.

Additionally, the District is currently conducting detailed elementary enrollment projections through the 2036-37 school year and reviewing existing elementary facilities and attendance areas.
Informed by this survey and background work, an additional public survey and Open House will be held in November 2026 to gather input on several different specific operating adjustment scenarios.
Collectively, these will all inform a report on recommended operating adjustments that will be completed in early 2027.
