It’s that time of year, when Elder Abuse Prevention Ontario (EAPO) checks in with our community partners and supporters, requesting they invest 15 minutes and complete the Annual Provincial Survey, as mandated by our funder, the Ontario government.  This year however has been markedly different for us all as we continue to make adjustments in our daily operations and be able to effectively continue to fulfill our mandates in service of those who rely on our support.

The Ontario government continues to evaluate the success and impact of various initiatives related to the implementation of the Strategy to Combat Elder Abuse and your feedback will help us set priorities in the year ahead, particularly while the COVID-19
pandemic is still ongoing.

Perspectives gathered from YOUR unique experiences helps us understand how best to re-focus our resources on community coordination, building capacity through training service providers and delivering relevant educational sessions that raise awareness about topics that matter NOW.

This year YOUR inputs are even more important and will help us collectively improve supports in Ontario, to meet the challenges ahead and perhaps set new priorities for Elder Abuse Prevention and Intervention.

Thank you for your time and sharing your insights.
