The University of Oregon's Department for East Asian Languages and Literature is offering graduate student travel awards to offset costs associated with research travel abroad, including contributing to airline ticket or research material expenses. These funds are designated for overseas research expenses and not intended to support conference travel. This funding cycle supports projects that will be conducted between June and December, 2018.

These awards will come from the Alan Wolfe Memorial Fellowship and the Japan America Friendship Fund and are restricted to students working on Japan. Please note that all awardees will need to submit a short report within one month of returning to the UO.
