Objectives - Training Workshop
- Introduce and explore the “Evidence Ecosystem for Impact” Framework
- Explain the role of evidence in decision-making processes
- Demonstrate how to systematically search relevant databases for different types of evidence
- Construct an Evidence Brief for Policy by defining policy problems, outlining policy options or elements, and identifying key implementation considerations.
- Describe the different knowledge translation products that can be used to address priorities for policy action
- Describe the different knowledge uptake activities that can facilitate deliberation among key stakeholders
- Identify available resources and supports for evidence-informed decision-making
Objectives - Coaching and Mentoring:
- To consolidate and deepen participants’ learning from the Evidence-Informed Decision-Making Training Workshop through structured coaching and mentorship;
- To support participants in collaboratively developing a knowledge translation product—grounded in rigorous evidence synthesis and stakeholder engagement—that addresses a policy priority;
- To strengthen participants’ capacity to translate evidence into action by co-designing and delivering knowledge uptake activities tailored to real-world policy contexts.
