Dung Beetle Monitoring Program - Expression of Interest

Due 20 August 2020

The University of New England (UNE) is seeking expressions of interest from landholders who would like to participate in a large-scale dung beetle monitoring program run by the Dung Beetle Ecosystem Engineers Project. This project is a collaboration of universities, research organisations and producer groups supported by Meat and Livestock Australia through funding from the Australian Government's Rural Research and Development for Profit Program. The project aims to increase the distribution of dung beetles across Australia and to measure the benefits to primary producers. North West Regional Agriculture Landcare Facilitators are supporting UNE with the community engagement and expression of interest process.

Once EOI's have been assessed, landholders will be contacted by Dr Zac Hemmings with further details regarding next steps.

If you have any questions about the project please contact Dr Zac Hemmings at UNE zac.hemmings@gmail.com or 0428 100750.
Or alternatively Anne Coote (Regional Agriculture Landcare Facilitator) ralf@nsla.net.au or 0408 007163.
