Dugway Underground Study

Originally an open stream that provided habitat for a variety of fish, birds, and other animal and plant species, Dugway Brook has been culverted in the City of Cleveland since the early 1900s. The stream is currently buried in a pipe that runs beneath Glenview Park. The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, Chagrin River Watershed Partners, the City of Cleveland, and several other local watershed organizations are completing a study to assess the feasibility of restoring a portion of Dugway Brook through Glenview Park to improve stormwater management (i.e. reduce flooding and improve water quality) in the neighborhood and create new wildlife habitat.

The study team would like your input to help evaluate different potential design scenarios.
1.Do you live in Glenville?
2.Have you experienced surface flooding or basement sewer backup problems?
3.How often do you experience surface flooding of your property? (i.e. does surface water enter your building)
4.How often do you experience flooding or basement sewer backups?
