SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

          There are more than one thousand sessions at the conference, and we want to make sure that each session has at least one discussant. if you select several different sessions where you can serve, we will put you on the session with the greatest need.  We at times have several people volunteer for the same session.  If you have questions, please contact us at conf@mpsanet.org. 
          DISCUSSANTS on Junior Scholar Symposia are expected to read the papers in advance and provide detailed feedback on both the specific paper as well as discuss ways to extend the paper into a broader research agenda. Only Faculty may serve in these roles.
          DISCUSSANTS on Panels and Poster Sessions are expected to read the papers in advance and provide feedback on each paper.
           CHAIRS on Lightning Talks introduce the speaker, keep time and help the presenter with the PowerPoint presentations.

* 7. On THURSDAY we have several PANELS that need a DISCUSSANT. Please volunteer for any that will work for you and we will place you on the one that has the greatest need.  
     ** Indicates session that is a higher priority for needing a discussant.

* 8. On SATURDAY, we have two LIGHTNING TALK sessions that needs a chair.   You need to be familiar with PowerPoint. 
     ** Indicates session that is a higher priority for needing a discussant.

* 9. On FRIDAY we have a LIGHTNING TALK that needs a chair. You must be famiar with powerpoint presentations.
     ** Indicates session that is a higher priority for needing a discussant.

* 10. We have several SESSIONS on SUNDAY that need a DISCUSSANT. Please volunteer for any that will work for you and we will place you on the one that has the greatest need.  Only volunteer to be a discussant on a JSS session if you are a faculty member.
     There are no high priority sessions that need a discussant on Sunday.
