2019 Missing Roles by Session Format |
SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
With more than one thousand sessions at the conference, some still need a discussant. If you select several different sessions where you can serve, we will put you on the session with the greatest need. If you have questions, please contact us at conf@mpsanet.org.
DISCUSSANTS on Panels and Poster Sessions are expected to read the papers in advance and provide feedback on each paper. DISCUSSANTS on Junior Scholar Symposia are also expected to discuss ways to extend the paper into a broader research agenda. Only Faculty may serve as JSS Discussants.
CHAIRS on Lightning Talks introduce the speaker, keep time and help the presenter with the PowerPoint presentations. Graduate students can serve in this role.
