Digital Transformation Strategies Assessment

Digital Transformation (DT) has the capability to change the competitive landscape and even the entire structure of industries, but to what extent has it impacted the continuous process industries? For example, one major process company is already using robots for routine field operations in harsh conditions.  This removes humans from hazardous environments, reduces costs and improves reliability.

This survey measures the current and planned adoption of transformative digital technologies in operating companies. The technologies include (for example) smart sensors, IoT edge and cloud platforms, analytics, drones, robotics and 3D printing. Companies expect these to achieve step changes in efficiency and performance metrics.
