Introduction
This survey has been developed by the research project GLObal digital twin for RegIonal and local climate Adaptation (GLORIA). The project aims to develop a digital twin of the Earth’s climate providing quality-assured and action-oriented climate information for climate change adaptation.
Who is this survey for?
This survey is targeted at researchers and practitioners working in organisations that are weather or climate sensitive and who have either used or could potentially use climate information for adaptation purposes.
Why are we asking these questions?
The results from this survey will inform the climate science community in Europe about the information needs and expectations of researchers and practitioners. This will ensure that the outputs from the digital twin provide information that fulfills user needs, while allowing a better management of users’ expectations.
What are the questions about?
We are interested in the individuals’ awareness about the climate adaptation digital twin and the expectations regarding the added value and opportunities that the digital twin may bring.
