Digital Storytelling to Promote Comprehensive Cancer Control Coalition Successes August to September 2017
The American Cancer Society, through a cooperative agreement with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and in partnership with the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors, is offering a
Digital Storytelling Workshop
.
The course is designed to help you create a digital Comprehensive Cancer Control success story for a project or program that you have worked on in the past or are working on presently.
The course will consist of 4 online sessions:
August 10th - 3:00 to 4:00 PM EST
August 24th - 3:00 to 3:40 PM EST
August 31st - 3:00 to 3:40 PM EST
September 7th - 3:00 to 3:40 PM EST
Between classes, all participants will be asked to:
Read a short section from the participant guide
Work with a partner to complete a short assignment prior to the next session
Send completed assignments to the course administrator
Sign up now, and learn how to create memorable messages. Space is limited to the first 40 applicants, and applicants will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Completing Assignments
The short between-session assignments are designed to be completed in teams of 2-3 people. Please let us know if you will be working with someone or would like us to pair you with someone.
A colleague from my organization is also taking the course and I will work with this individual on assignments.
