DIGITAL MEDIA BOOTCAMP | 2021 | Youth Application

Application Deadline: Friday, February 26th, 2021

Coyote’s Digital Media Bootcamp is specifically for enterprising BIPOC youth between the ages of 14-18 who are ready to build a creative toolkit for their future. We are looking for students who are innovative, curious, and willing to work hard. This program is especially designed to address the massive inequity gap in the digital marketing world. Black, brown and indigenous youth to the front! Folx with disabilities, trans, queer, or otherwise marginalized youth are encouraged to apply.

Digital Media Bootcamp Description //
This 5-month intensive will be broken up into a 3-month Design Intensive + 2-month Creative Internship (in person or online, pending COVID). In the first 3 months, 12 young creatives will work together to create marketing and design materials with Coyote Central as their mock client. They will learn industry standard programs like Adobe Creative Suite, that will become stepping stones for career paths. Workshops will be guided by a professional teaching artist and each participant will be assigned a personal mentor from the industry. The program will culminate in a personalized internship, where youth will get a taste of the real world of graphic design, marketing, advertising and more.
