Digital transformation is the use of digital technology to solve traditional problems to create new — or modify existing — business processes, culture, and customer experiences to meet changing business and market requirements.
The transformation process involves  both digitization (the process of converting information from an analogue to a digital/ computer-readable format) and digitalization (the adoption of digital or computer technology when changing processes or models in a company, industry, or country).
This short survey will assist the Caribbean Development Bank with its research on the area of digital transformation in the Caribbean.  This first interaction seeks to provide an understanding of some of the prevailing perceptions towards transformation and areas where opportunities exist.  The results will be kept confidential and presented at an aggregate level in the forthcoming discussion paper: Digital for Caribbean Development.
