Deadline: Sunday, February 7th

Schmidt Futures
Schmidt Futures is helping to staff Governor Cuomo's Reimagine New York Commission to develop ideas for how to build back better from COVID-19. Schmidt Futures is focusing initially on increasing opportunity for New Yorkers in three essential ways: reducing the digital divide, improving access to healthcare, and creating more and better employment in an increasingly digital economy.

Digital Divide
The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the digital divide: the systematic underinvestment in broadband access, affordability, and digital literacy in historically marginalized communities. Schmidt Futures is committed to staffing Governor Cuomo's Reimagine New York Commission to help to ensure that all New Yorkers have access to affordable, high-speed internet, as well as the knowledge and technical support to use it to its fullest capacity.

Please base your responses on your library's pre-pandemic operations.
