Survey

Researchers in the nutrition and biodesign programs at Arizona State University (ASU) are conducting a research study to investigate the effects of natural food-based supplements on immune system responsiveness:  curcumin (from turmeric) and palmitoylethanolamide (from egg yolk and peanuts).  We are recruiting adults who recently tested positive for COVID-19 (less than 2 weeks) and displayed mild or no symptoms.  We are inviting your participation in the screening process, which will consist of answering questions regarding health history, demographics, and scheduling availability. This research will require two visits to the test site located in the Arizona Biomedical Collaborative (ABC) building on the ASU downtown Phoenix campus for blood draws.  You have the right not to answer any question, and to stop participation at any time. We are recruiting healthy adults ≥18 years of age. Your participation in this screening process is voluntary. If you choose not to participate or to withdraw from the survey at any time, there will be no penalty. Your responses to this survey will not be linked to your name but may be used in aggregate form for publications and presentations.
