Delphi Study-Round 1

Introduction

We are inviting you to participate in a Delphi study, which will consist of two rounds. Your participation in choosing curriculum topics and learning goals that address the broad domain of recovery and rehabilitation is of utmost importance.
Surviving critical illness significantly impacts both short- and long-term health status and quality of life for patients and their family members. Intensive care unit (ICU) clinicians need to enlarge their knowledge and competencies to support ICU survivors and their families to better navigate the complex recovery trajectory. However, educational opportunities are currently limited in European countries.
We aim to develop an evidence-based curriculum to educate ICU clinicians (nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and physicians) on symptoms, consequences, and recovery challenges, as well as evidence-based interventions to support recovery commenced during an ICU stay and continuing beyond ICU and hospital discharge.
This is the first round in a Delphi process: Identify topics you think are relevant for inclusion in this curriculum.
Participation is entirely voluntary and may take 10 to 15 minutes of time to complete.
