Ocean Decade Activity Application Form

As described in the Ocean Decade Implementation Plan, a Decade Activity is a one-off, standalone initiative—such as an event, publication, audiovisual production, or training opportunity, among others—that contributes to a Decade Programme or Project or to one of the Ocean Decade Challenges.

Decade Activities will be implemented by institutions and organizations worldwide as part of the collective effort to fulfill the Decade vision. Only Activities that receive official endorsement are authorized to use the Ocean Decade logo in their communications.

To request endorsement for your proposed Ocean Decade Activity and have it recognized as part of the Ocean Decade, please read the Guidance Note carefully and complete the corresponding form.

Please note that, due to the high volume of requests received, processing times may be subject to delays. We therefore strongly recommend submitting your request well in advance—at least six weeks prior to the intended start date.
