Dakota County Rural Economic Strategic Plan Business Survey
Thank you for your cooperation and taking an interest in the future of Dakota County’s economy. The following survey has been distributed to all businesses in the county. The purpose of the Dakota County Rural Economic Strategic Plan is to collaboratively develop an economic development strategy that places an emphasis on neighborhoods, unincorporated areas, and business areas through partnerships between communities, housing and economic development groups, and private property owners. Economic development is a collaborative strategy to: Enhance the County's prosperity, promote commerce and industry, support business retention, recruitment, expansion, and enhance workforce development. Questions from the survey were chosen to help illustrate the current state of Dakota County's economy and existing businesses.
