The Darwin International Film Festival (DIFF) endeavours to connect local audiences with the best of International films, and offers a platform for local filmmakers to launch their career, develop their skills and increase exposure for their work.
Just like DIFF, this questionnaire has several ambitions:
1) Better understand the needs and challenges of the people that make up our Territorian screen industry, at all levels and in all fields of content making;
2) Compare the results with currents local initiatives strategies of DIFF, and make appropriate adjustments to better support our local talent;
3) Start a centralised database for crew and talent based in the NT (your permission will be requested for this);
4) Get to know the tastes, inspirations and trends amongst local filmmakers and filmmaking enthusiasts across the Territory, and highlight synergies and opportunities for collaborations.
Who is this survey for?
If you are, have been, or wish to be involved in any capacity with filmmaking in its most general sense (including new media, documentary, fiction, etc), then we want your input!
