Dear Families,

A committee of Melrose Public Schools educators has been meeting throughout this school year to review our wellness program which includes physical education and health in grades K-12. The purpose of the review is to document current practices in our wellness program, especially curriculum, instruction, and assessment. In addition, the committee will develop an action plan based upon the findings to support improvement in science instruction in Melrose. In the spring of 2020, the committee will present a final report to the school administration. The committee has collected student work, materials, assessments, and curriculum documents. We are surveying both teachers and students and seek input from families to add another perspective to the review.

This family survey asks for your input about the wellness program. The survey is completely anonymous and will be used by the committee in conjunction with other data to help inform the review.
