Adair
Ms. Adair is a wonderful librarian. My students are so excited when it is library day. She has started several new programs that the children enjoy. We are so lucky to have her.

Barnette
Brianna goes above and beyond for her students, her team and school. She is constantly looking for ways to improve her practice and encouraging the ideas of others. She is committed to best teaching, even when that means more work for herself. She is a supportive co-worker and inspirational teacher. Brianna is a wonderful teacher who is a dedicated leader for her team. She is also involved with other activities at our school as well as outside of our school to enhance her teaching career.

Donovan
Connie is a top notch teacher who goes above and beyond for her students and their families. Connie makes it a point to call each of her student’s families on the regular to keep them in the loop. Connie is ALWAYS ready and prepared for each school day to ensure that her students are always learning at the highest level possible and without any loss of instruction. Connie is always reflecting on her practice and takes her time ensuring that assessments, lesson plans, etc. are all created with the mindset of student growth. Connie is never satisfied until she is sure that she understands an idea or concept perfectly before she expects her students to. Connie flies under the radar here at Lesslie, but spend even ten minutes listening to her teach and you will learn so much about the passion she has. Connie's work ethic and huge heart for her students is an inspiration.

Ellison
Ms. Ellison is a great addition to Lesslie. She sees the best in her students, handles difficult situations well, and is a team player.

Hayes
Mr. Hayes and his team are incredible. He faces challenges day every day with his students, but he always remains calm and uses a calm, steady voice. The students grow and learn in his class until they are ready to integrate back into the regular classroom.
Mr. Hayes starts every day with a smile. He is a pleasure to work with. He genuinely cares about every child in his class. He definitely deserves to be teacher of the year!

Idehenre
Ms. Idehenre has been a tremendous assistance in technology support. Delora uses her technology expertise in tutorials to provide extra academic support for students, parents, and colleagues. She is tireless in making sure her students receive the best educational experience possible.

Kilburn
Karen has been a very supportive staff member. She has effectively given her time before, during and after school, assisting students with their academic needs. Karen has a great relationship with many of her parents.

Montgomery
Despite growing numbers in kindergarten Michele has maintained high expectations for all students. Students leave her classroom well prepared for first grade and beyond.
