Trichotillomania Study Recruitment

Thank you very much for your interest in our study. We are attempting to examine the relationship between inflammatory markers in the blood with trichotillomania, otherwise known as hair pulling disorder, and compare it to a healthy control sample in adults 18 and older. The study is conducted under Dr. Jon Grant at the University of Chicago and involves one in-person, 90-minute visit at the University of Chicago. Participants will be compensated for their time and travel. The information you provide here will be kept confidential and will not be used for purposes other than seeing if you are eligible to participate in the study.

3.The main component of this study is a blood draw. Are you comfortable with having your blood drawn?(Required.)
4.This study requires 1 in-person visit at the University of Chicago. Do you live in the Chicago area or are you able to travel here?(Required.)
5.Are you currently diagnosed with trichotillomania?(Required.)
