SON ANDRAVA CREATIVE RESIDENCIES

We offer creative residencies at Son Andrava to international artists from the literary, theatre, film, VR, programming, curation, dance research and musical fields. The residency is in a house with land located in the rural heart of Mallorca, providing a serene and welcoming space to fully immerse oneself in the creative process, whether to develop an ongoing project or to begin new ideas. Be aware there is no dance studio (yet!) We only offer the house and the countryside experience.

WHAT'S OFFERED
Son Andrava is a quiet shared family space in the countryside, best suited to artists seeking focus, reflection, and independent creative time
- Exclusive use of the ground floor of the house (we will not be there during your stay)
- Quiet indoor and outdoor spaces, surrounded by nature
- Self-managed stay (meals and transport not included)
- Provided: Linens, towels, kitchen, washing machine, fridge, heating, Wifi
- We are happy to assist artists seeking grants or other forms of funding in their home country/institution by providing letters of recommendation.

Flexible, to be arranged based on availability.

APPLICATION PROCESS
As space is limited, we select applicants based on evidence of their professional experience, quality of past work, project idea and compatibility with any other artists in residency.
We aim to reply in 2/3 weeks
COST
Artist: 420€ / £400 first week per artist ---- 360€ / £330 following weeks per artist
Accompanying guest: 200€ / £170 week per guest

PAYMENT
Successful applicants will receive confirmation of dates together with an invoice and payment instructions. Payment can be made via bank transfer, PayPal or Wise.

To confirm and reserve the residency dates, a non-refundable payment equivalent to 50% of the total residency fee is required within 20 days of acceptance.
The remaining 50% of the residency fee, together with a refundable security deposit of €/£150, must be paid at least 3 weeks before arrival.

The security deposit will be returned after departure, provided no damage, loss, or exceptional cleaning requirements have occurred.

AGREEMENT
Before the residency begins, a simple agreement outlining practical details, payment terms, and mutual responsibilities will be shared and signed by both parties.
