As a Not-For-Profit we are designed to work in conjunction with educational institutions, municipal governments, local corporations and the small independent. Creating these alignments ensure our programs respond to and deliver to existing gaps in the community. Simultaneously, having multiple delivery options, including after school programming, on-site training, corporate and customer workshops and post secondary programs, allows businesses to cater to their specific target audiences and truly customize programs.

* 7. Identify further how SkillED can assist you in your employment rebuild and development plans.

Conference call advising a SkillED of your organizational skill needs to be applied to the SkillED Educational Program (1 hour discussion)

Advise or mentor SkillED in program development specifically to the needs of your applicants, allow a practical introduction to your facility for an on-site tour and or some practical on-site lessons. (1-3 phone discussions, 1-1-2 hour facility tour)

Provide in-depth skill knowledge to SkillED thus applying this knowledge to course curriculum. Introduce students to your business, as forward thinking highly skilled organization

Post an internal job posting or nominate an employed skilled tradesperson to act as a speaker at a local skills symposium

Host an educational program on-site. SkillED team manages 3-4 hour session within your organization, SkillED teacher manages the session, your designated tradesperson becomes a special guest speaker (SkillED covers the cost of tradespersons time, lease of space and insurance)

Apply as Co-op sponsor for students in training provided by SkillED or other educational institution (apply for grant funding)

Provide program sponsorship to SkillED in exchange, your business will be displayed within al media packages in our first year.

Utilize the skilled labour services provided from SkillED within contractor, manufacturing or agriculture. You post daily labor requirements on the SkillED website. Applicants apply to the posting/their qualifications/reviews are posted (SkillED will employ students, you the contractor or organization pay SkillED on a contractual basis)
