Early learning sector insights: Caring for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

The following survey is aimed at early learning approved providers - ie. centre-based long day care centres (both ACA members and non-members).

The aim of the survey is to explore the experiences of approved providers in educating and caring for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

The survey should be completed by the owner/operator or Centre Director.

ACA intends to use this data in the context of our submission to the Australian Government Senate's inquiry into the services, support and life outcomes for autistic people in Australia and the need for a National Autism Strategy. The survey should only take you about five minutes to complete and does not require any personal information that reveals your identity.

The survey has been produced by the Australian Childcare Alliance – Australia’s peak body representing the early learning sector.  #BestStartInLife

PLEASE NOTE: The Australian Childcare Alliance is obliged to comply with the Privacy Act 1988 in the collection and handling of personal information. All consequent reports will be aggregated and de-identified to ensure the privacy of all respondents.
