Position Overview
WESTECH SECURITY is looking to hire FO2 Security Guards.
Starting pay is $16-$18 an hour with shifts ranging from 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, 12am-8am. The job location will be in LaGuardia but interviews will be conducted in the Bronx .

Job Qualifications:

Maintain access control and traffic inside facilities to maintain the order and security of people and property.
- Detect and/or prevent fires, vandalism, theft, or infractions of the rules
- Maintain assigned posts throughout the facility until properly relieved.
- Protect employees, visitors, and clients.
- Provide directions to visitors when requested.
- Employ crisis prevention/intervention and crisis management skills when conflict occur
- Observe and report irregularities such as unusual tenant behavior, trespassers, fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked.

Document in the security log book and incident report forms property damage, unusual occurrences, and incidents with employees, visitors, and tenants.
Requirements:
- NYS Security License
- Must have 8 Hour & 16 Hour Certificate
- F02 a MUST
- Hours vary, weekends a must, some overnights
- Excellent organizational / time management skills.
- Decision making and problem-solving skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- No Toxicology Test
