We know that many survivors feel a strong desire to share their stories and be part of a broader national conversation that can spark meaningful change.
Sharing personal experiences can be empowering and healing. Survivor firsthand accounts have the ability to touch hearts, open minds, increase awareness, and highlight the real challenges survivors face.
This survey serves as an important platform to ensure that these vital voices are heard and represented.
Stories shared will be used to humanize the experiences of survivors by sharing their personal journeys, struggles, and resilience. We also aim to highlight the humanity of advocates, emphasizing their compassion and dedication. The stories may be featured in our Domestic Violence Counts report and other publications to foster understanding, empathy, and awareness. Additionally, these narratives will serve as a comprehensive story bank that may be utilized for effective communication and advocacy, informing policy decisions, and inspiring action.
Participation in this survey is not required. Please only participate if you feel comfortable doing so.
We ask that you not include any information that could personally identify you (ex. Name, location, age, etc.).
