... for those with "long-term" COVID-19.

This survey has one goal: to update prior results for Length of Illness for those with "long-term" COVID-19. Those results were part of a quite complete questionnaire whose results can be found at LTCOVID.com

When I last studied this in late 2020, that duration averaged about 6.5 months. That figure is now obsolete for those who have not recovered completely. Our goal is to update that earlier result with this 3 minute survey.

Question Title

* 1. Enter the date when your illness began

Question Title

* 2. Let’s confirm the year your illness began: 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022.

(Some respondents had to write back to correct their 1st choice for the year. The year 2022 is an understandable mistake given that it's the current year. And as a start date, is of course still quite possible. Please just double-check and confirm below, even if you find this a little silly).

Question Title

* 3. If your COVID-19 illness is still present enter below today’s date in the provided day month year format.

* 4. If you had “long-term” COVID-19 but are now “over it,” enter a date when you feel it ended using day, month, year format below. If not a specific day/date, enter the 15th of the month as explained above.

That date will be used to calculate your Duration of Illness.

Thanks again!

Your replies should provide a useful Duration of Illness estimate both for those who are still caught in “long-term” COVID-19, as well as for those who are now thankfully over it.

Check in from time to time at StudyLTCovid.com to see the results. How your responses fit in to current work is detailed there.

At the start I said this survey has one goal. But there is a 2nd, and that is to share its results openly, and first of course with you and other respondents.

Those will be placed on the above site, but also on the Facebook Group where many respondents first participated.

If needed, you can always get back to us at 'data@StudyLTCovid.com '.
