Look no further than this writing group that offers a casual and informal writing space to help you put down your thoughts on paper (or computer). Find community, process, and share your writing with other members each week. Let your mind wander freely and express yourself! Open to other family members or children, if you'd like too.
COMMA CLUB: Are you ready to start saving? Have you been putting off engaging with your money? If this is you, consider joining our Comma Club! The Comma Club will work to support you to save at least $1,000 in an emergency fund!! An emergency fund is a stash of money set aside to cover the financial surprises life throws your way. Just look at the current situation!! Having some cash stored away sure would be nice! Join us an get the support and accountability needed to begin your emergency fund today! MINDFULNESS SUPPORT CLUB: What has this pandemic crisis been like for you?? In a moment with so much uncertainty and many people suffering across the globe, it is normal to be impacted by what is going on around us. Hopelessness, sadness, boredom, anger/frustration, fear and gratitude for our blessings are all normal responses in such times. We want you to know that you are not in this alone!
This group will be a safe space to talk about your experiences in order to learn and share coping strategies and build resilience and strength. We will be focusing on tools for stress management such as mindfulness, creativity, building connection and finding joy in times of uncertainty. We will get through this together!
NOTE: This group will NOT involve discussing or debating news, politics, statistics or media
PARENTING CLUB: Having the kids around all day on the weekends can be challenging, having the kids around 24-7 could drive you bonkers! As you balance work, meal prep, teacher, student, house cleaner, and mediator, you might be feeling at your wits end. Just writing that list felt exhausting! If you are looking for supports and a new strategy, join us in this parenting class. We will be using the STEP curriculum.
