Thank you for your interest in volunteering with a bike bus to the Downtown Sunday Parkways on September 14th. Please fill out this form to help us get you assigned to the right bike bus. If you have questions, please contact Rob Hemphill on the Sunday Parkways team.

Position Description
  • Welcomes riders at starting point and along the route
  • Fulfills assigned role of leader, middle support, or caboose to Sunday Parkways and/or back to the neighborhood
    • Wears identifiable clothing/name tag
  • Ensures group safely arrives at destination together
    • No drop ride
    • Family and new rider friendly
    • Exercises best practices for group rides
  • Communicate route/ride updates to SP Team during event day
  • Completes required training
Training Requirements
  • Attends at least one virtual “Bike Bus to Sunday Parkways” training session
    • Alternative: Attends practice ride led by Bicycle Advisory Committee
  • Rides route at least 2 times to become comfortable with route, any difficult traffic patterns
    • Self attestation
    • By: September 1, 2025
  • Optional: Participate in City Bike Bus to gain additional group ride experience
