The County of Humboldt Economic Development Division and the North Coast Small Business Development Center have invited national quality marketing experts to Humboldt County on November 3rd and 4th and 5th to work with local businesses.


The goal of this series of workshops is to assist you in the thinking and development of a multi-channel marketing strategy that stimulates higher profitability for your business, specifically by selling to consumers through catalogs, emails, websites, social networking and other emerging technologies.

You are invited to participate!

This workshop is organized into four components: a panel discussion, a series of workshops, one-on-one consulting sessions and small working groups to provide in-depth, hands-on knowledge to re-engineer your marketing to meet the changing needs and expectations of consumers.

The six guest consultants include:

· Geoff Wolff is a partner in LENSER, a direct marketing firm based in San Rafael, and he has created two businesses and guided both of them to profitability and a successful sale. http://www.lenser.com/

· Al Bessin, also a partner in LENSER, is an entrepreneurial multichannel executive with over 30 years experience.

· Andrea Syverson is author of BrandAbout: A Seriously Playful Approach for Passionate Brand-Builders and Merchants.

· Janet Wentworth is found partner of The 10X Group, a consulting and training firm specializing in assisting San Francisco North Bay small and medium-sixed businesses in start-up, fast-growth and turnaround stages.

· Anni Minuzzo is an expert in specialty food product design and marketing.

The program is open to about 40 businesses on Wednesday, November 3, 8:30am-5:30pm at the Samoa Women’s Club.

Additional workshops will be held on November 4-5th for targeted businesses.

The cost is just $20 per person to cover the refreshments (paid at the door).
