Disability Rights Texas (DRTx) knows that many Texans with disabilities did not have power, water, or the right support during the recent historic winter weather event. Our state needs to improve its planning and response to emergencies and disasters so that what happened during the winter storm will not happen again.
To help us work to make these changes, our agency needs as much information as possible from Texans with disabilities. We want to know what happened to you in the winter storm, how it impacted you, and if you are still experiencing problems as a result of the storm.
