Joint Land Use Planning Area | Engagement Survey

What is the Joint Land Use Plan?

DRFN LUP + BC Provincial Interests + Public Interest = Joint Land Use Plan
The Provincial and public interests will be combined with the DRFN LUP to produce a shared land use plan to guide resource development in the planning area. This plan is referred to as the Joint Land Use Plan (JLUP).

The JLUP will identify mapped land use zones. Within each zone, land management objectives will be developed that will guide future resource management activities.

The JLUP will allow for assessment and management of cumulative effects with a hope to improve land and resource management within the planning area.

For more information, read the JLUP fact sheet.
