The DREAMSS Study: Pre-Screening Survey

You are being asked to participate in a research study titled “Determining Risks using Ecological Assessments of Mood, Sleep, & Suicide: An ecological momentary assessment of sleep effects in Veterans with suicidal ideation (DREAMSS)”. This study is being led by Dr. Maegan Willing, a Research Psychologist with the Center for Deployment Psychology (CDP) at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. The purpose of this pre-screening survey is for use in determining potential participation in the research. Data and contact information provided in the pre-screening survey will be maintained for 7 years after study completion.

Are you between the ages of 18 and 64?
Did you deploy in support of the War on Terror (e.g., Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation New Dawn)?
Do you have problems falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up too early?
Are you currently receiving behavioral health care?
Do you reside in the continental United States?
Do you have diagnosed narcolepsy?
Do you have a history of any of the following?
Are you a shift worker?
