Please fill out this form if you would like to present an event or activity for the Lismore Women’s Festival 2019.  The Committee will review proposals,  then respond to each applicant. We look forward to your ideas!

Monday 12th November:
Final submission date for EOI form
You will need:
-   short biography of facilitator
-   description of presenting organisation (if applicable)

Friday 30th November:
YWCA responds to applicants.  Programmed activities asked for further information.

Monday 17th December:
Information from programmed activities required:  
-   Current Public Liability certificate of presenter (plus Product Indemnity Insurance certificate if applicable)
-   Final text about your activity for publication
-   Compliance with Safety Checklist (will be available on website)

Festival Dates
Friday 1st March to Saturday 9th March 2019
-   Opening Event: Friday 1st March, 3.30-7.30pm
-   International Women's Day: Friday 8th March

•       Eat the Street is on Saturday 9th March
•       Samson Challenge is on Saturday 2nd March. 
Programming will take these into consideration, as much of the local community is busy during the day-time on these days.

NOTE: All events will have a Facebook event created on the Lismore Women’s Festival Facebook page, which can be used as a booking system for your activity.  You will also be able to update the details of your event on that event page (as a “co-host” of the FB event).

When running an event, you need to plan to reduce any hazards that may harm anyone.  A checklist of items will be available on the website: www.lismorewomensfestival.org.  Accepted activities will need to comply with these by December 17.

* Be aware that participants will come from a range of backgrounds and abilities, for example: different languages, different levels of physical abilities, or different genders.
* You may like to plan for Auslan interpreters, and/or other ways to include people with mobility issues (eg wheelchairs).
* Music at your event: we may be able to suggest live female musicians if that would suit your event.
