Thank you for your interest in August 2022 Long Weekend Tracking Camp! Please complete this registration form and note the dates and deadlines. I will be providing a 2022 Waiver of Participation to anyone who has not yet signed it.

Dates:

July 29 - Classroom evening session and welcome, refreshments
July 30 - Field day at a beautiful location just north of Olds
Saturday evening dinner and presentations
August 1 - Urban day around Olds Alberta
August 2 - 1:1 private sessions by appointment

REGISTRATION DEADLINES

Deposit (non-refundable) to hold your spot by July 15
Final payment due July 29

Discounts for entering both days or more than one dog outlined in registration

Fees vary for working teams and beginners, and depending on what you choose. Tailor your weekend with choices to attend it all, class only, field or urban, add a track per day, and 1:1 lesson on Monday.

Read the options and choices below before filling in the registration. Working teams are limited to 4 per day. Beginners participants are not limited. Auditors / observers are welcome.

Overview of options:

Classroom and Audit (note auditors can observe but will not participate).

Classroom only $100
Audit per day / observe not participate $100

Advanced working teams (4 per day)

Field day - includes blind tracks
Choose one CKC or one trailing style or add a track.
Fee $250 (1 plotted track, critique, video, map and certificate, with clinic to follow
2 blind tracks add $50 (mix and match - 2 CKC or 2 Trailing, or one of each)
Field owner contribution $15

Urban day - includes blind tracks in either a CKC or trailing style or both

Fee $200
2 blind tracks add $50 (2 blind tracks add $50 (mix and match - 2 CKC or 2 Trailing, or one of each)

Certificates of accomplishment will be presented at the end of each day along with a critique and map; video to follow

BEGINNERS level dogs

Participate in Field and Urban days
Assist with plotting tracks. Follow with the judge (me) to observe and learn on the track you plotted.
After the working dogs finish their tracks - rerun a different track than you plotted (semi - blind!)
Receive a critique, map and video
Certificates of accomplishment at the end of the day

Saturday evening

Dinner - a room will be reserved (pay for your own meal)
Presentations that will inspire and provide insights from fellow participants
Certificates of achievement and recognition presentation
