The criteria for the awards is based on the following Third Sector values which we believe are central to creating social change:
- Social impact - The Board Director has created positive, measurable benefits for the organisation’s stakeholders, and the third sector as a whole.
- Systems Thinking - The Board Director has guided the organisation to design solutions based on systems-level change.
- Collaboration - The Board Director has proven capacity to collaborate with other stakeholders within the third sector and/ or other sectors.
- Passion/Dedication - The Board Director shows dedication and passion towards the positive developments of the organisation and the sector as a whole.
- Leadership - The Board Director demonstrates leadership of the organisation, the system and self and consciously created a ‘leaderful’ organisational culture, where leadership is shared and promoted throughout the organisation.
