DESCRIPTION:Participants are invited to receive hands-on training on with our Point of Sale (POS) Cash Register System and develop practical skills to enhance their employability in the grocery and retail sectors.In this workshop, participants will:
- Learn how to process sales transactions, discounts, clearance items, and returns;
- Develop the communication and customer service skills essential for success in retail environments;
- Gain insight into the skills, qualities, and expectations employers look for in retail employees;
- Have their retail and employment-related questions answered by an experienced facilitator; and,
- Receive a Certificate of Attendance upon successful completion of the workshop.
This workshop will take place at 222 Dixon Road, Suite 207, Etobicoke, ON, M9P 3S5 (MAP).
TTC, Züm, and MiWay transit tickets will be provided.
