Belief Statement
We have developed the following belief statement to summarize the governing beliefs behind our work:
We believe that sexuality is a natural and healthy part of living and that parents are the primary teachers of sexuality education. The school’s curriculum needs to encourage communication between students and parents.
- For students to make responsible decisions regarding sexuality, they need accurate information, respect for others, and a framework of values.
- Abstinence prior to marriage is the healthiest choice for physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.
- Sexuality education includes formal education programs as well as informal learning that comes from wider social and cultural circles.
