UEE HVAC R Qualifications incorporating UEE32220/25 Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Survey

Purpose of the Survey

Powering Skills Organisation (PSO) in conjunction with the Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC), Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH), Air Conditioning and Mechanical Contractors Association of Australia Limited (AMCA), has developed this survey to support a review into the UEE32225 Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, and more broadly the HVAC R training products available to the industry currently. This is to determine whether these qualifications are still suitable and fit for purpose for the refrigeration and air conditioning industry taking into consideration the current Standards, Codes of Practice, national, state/territory regulatory requirements, the increasing use of natural refrigerant and continuous introduction of new and energy efficient technologies.

The ARC, AIRAH, AMCA and PSO are seeking feedback on a range of questions to progress this review to the next step of round table meetings with relevant stakeholders.

Powering Skills Organisation will not send, and ensures that any subcontractors or cloud infrastructure contractors do not send, any personal information outside Australia without the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations prior written approval (clause 9.14(b)). Powering Skills Organisation also ensures that Commonwealth confidential information held by the JSC is not transferred or stored outside of Australia (clause 9.15(d)(i)).
