Cultural Arts Passport Program Survey

* 1. The District has just provided us with:

$25K for Instructional Materials (paint, paintbrushes, canvases, oils pastels, etc...) for which we have started a Google doc. We have to spend the money in the next month. Teachers, staff and I are working on this list. (Feel free to add to it, as well.)

$65K for field trips, staff development, contracts with arts organizations, and even now equipment related to the arts as part of the Cultural Arts Passport program.

This money does not carry over. We must spend it in the next month. But, we will get more again next year. 

Here is the approved vendor list for contracts (if we choose to enter into any contracts this year for the remainder of this year).

What do you personally think we should spend the money on?

Remember that this is for THIS YEAR. They will give us more $ next year. If we get another $60K, $70K, $80K or $90K like they suggested, we can likely use some of that $ toward next year's PS Arts contract (freeing up some FOW money!). 

But, how should we spend THIS YEAR'S allocation?

It must be for the arts. So, we can buy Smart Boards for the STEAM Studios but not for classrooms. We can buy projectors or lighting or other equipment for the Auditorium, but not for classrooms. (I know and 100% agree that this stinks!)

So, please write in the comment section your ideas on what we should spend the money on this year. Remember, it must be ARTS related.
