2022 Award opportunity for Novice Teachers of K-12 Science in New Hampshire from the New Hampshire Science Teachers' Association

The Novice Science Teacher Award is presented annually by the NHSTA Board of Directors to recognize a science teacher who is outstanding in the field of science education. The award is given to a novice teacher in their first through fifth year who meets the following criteria:

Demonstrates enthusiasm, knowledge and passion through leadership in the classroom, school and/or district.
Applies knowledge of standards- and researched-based instructional and assessment strategies in their classroom with a commitment that all children can learn science.
Demonstrates abilities that make science meaningful to students.
Seeks information and experience in the field of science in an effort to further academic understanding through professional conferences, workshops, and/or courses.

To nominate a novice New Hampshire Teacher, please answer each of the questions which follow. The NHSTA Award Committee will review all applications and select an honoree. The award will be presented at the NHSTA Spring Conference, Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Pinkerton Academy, Derry, NH
