Providers of Equitable Access & Knowledge (PEAK) Collaborative

In late November and early December, Keystone Policy Center will host a series of listening sessions and virtual focus groups to help shape PEAK’s governance, objectives, policy priorities, and future activities. We are seeking interest from groups advancing outdoor equity in Colorado.

Sessions will be held virtually. Because space will be limited, interest does not guarantee placement; responses will help us assemble groups that reflect a range of geographies, experiences, communities, and perspectives.

Directly provides outdoor experiences, programming, or access support to community members in Colorado. Access support includes gear lending, transportation, scholarships, adaptive equipment, and trained staff accompaniment.

Shows community focus by either:
a) Sixty percent of participants served in Colorado are from one or more historically underserved communities; or
b) Operates a distinct, sustained program line serving historically underserved communities that has dedicated staff, dedicated budget, and ongoing partnership with community-based organizations, Tribal entities, or schools serving those communities.

Demonstrates community accountability through at least one of the following:
a) Leadership, board, or founding team includes people from the community served;
b) Physically based in and operationally embedded in the community served;
c) A formal mechanism giving community members influence over programming — an advisory body with real authority, community governance seats, or documented participatory design;
d) Tribal government affiliation, Tribal charter, or formal Tribal partnership

Serves priority communities as a central organizational purpose — not a marketing function, corporate responsibility line, or client-acquisition strategy.
