The Township of Lanark Highlands (the Township) is beginning preparations for the 2026 budget, and we want to hear from you.

We conducted a community survey in March 2025, and as we begin planning for the 2026 budget now, we are reaching out earlier to gather additional input. Our goal is to bring forward a draft budget in the fall and finalize the 2026 budget by January.

This survey is one of the ways we engage with residents, property owners, and business owners to better understand your priorities for municipal services, infrastructure, and programs.

Your input will help inform Council’s discussions as they balance community feedback with other important factors—including legislated requirements, operational needs, and financial pressures. Survey results will be summarized and shared publicly as part of our ongoing efforts to engage residents and ensure transparency in the budget process.
