System racism exists. Racist ideology is circulating at all times. No one is exempt from social and institutional forces.

All white people have been shaped by and socialized in racism, regardless of intentions. Intentions are irrelevant.

No one chose to be socialized into racism. Character is irrelevant.

Racism must be continually identified, analyzed and challenged. The work is never done.

The question is not if my life has been shaped by systemic racism, but how has it been?
