The Impact of UK Government Covid-19 financial support on the Creative & Media Industries
- this survey should take approximately 10 mins -
With arts venues closed, festivals and events cancelled and productions halted globally, the creative industries have been amongst the worst hit by the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Independent cinemas, theatres, museums and art spaces are all vital community hubs, but even when gradual easing of lockdown measures take effect, these spaces are likely to be amongst the last to fully reopen. That also directly impacts many more across the creative industries, both freelancers and small limited companies, many having been entirely or largely left out of Covid-19 government support packages.
The survey is being conducted by Day for Night Film & Visual Arts Ltd (www.day-for-night.org) in association with Excluded UK (www.excludeduk.org), a new NGO set up to create a collective platform for individuals and businesses excluded from the Government's financial support measures.
We are submitting evidence to the DCMS Committee for their current inquiry, "The Impact of Covid-19 on DCMS sectors", which will consider the immediate and long-term impact of Covid-19 on industries that fall under the remit of DCMS.
All questions in this survey are optional and your personal contact details will be kept confidential at all times.
