DLL Pilot Expansion Funding Application

The purpose of the Dual Language Learner (DLL) Pilot Expansion Phase Funding is to respond to the early learning needs of young Dual Language Leaners (DLL) through the COVID-19 pandemic and recovery. Funding may be used for instructional support, professional development, family engagement, and/or and infrastructure-building strategies to ensure the early learning and development needs of young DLLs are prioritized as the early childhood education system rebuilds from the effect of COVID-19. The DLL Pilot Expansion will help identify policy recommendations for scaling effective strategies.

First 5 California (F5CA) will accept one application per county (or group of counties). Please refer to the DLL Pilot Expansion Phase Funding Information document for additional information. Applications are due by Friday August 14, 2020.

1. Information about the Fiscal Lead Agency and responses to questions in this SurveyMonkey

2. The following documents uploaded at the end of this SurveyMonkey:
   a. Budget
   b. Budget Narrative
   c. BL 20-11 Certification

   d. Payee data record (SD 204) for the Fiscal Lead Agency
