The Young Professionals Committee of ASCE’s Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) and the Young Members’ Panel of The Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) have joined forces to research the state of our profession as perceived by young engineers from around the world.

In a truly globalized world, it is imperative for global engineering organizations to identify and provide for the needs of a generation that is deeply embedded in the most recent technological advancements.  In an effort to better serve the young members of both Institutions worldwide, SEI and IStructE appreciate getting your feedback on several matters related to your practice of the profession.  Spending 15 minutes, or so, to complete this questionnaire will be greatly appreciated.

Special acknowledgement is due to the Structural Engineers Association of Northern California (SEAONC) for sharing the survey used for the Structural Engineering Engagement and Equity (SE3) Project, on which some of this survey's questions are based.

Thank you for your time!
