Diocese of Phoenix Young Adult Survey

This year the Catholic Church throughout the world has been celebrating a Jubilee Year of Hope, rooted in St. Paul’s message: "Hope does not disappoint" (Rm 5:5).

In this context, the Diocese of Phoenix is reaching out to young adults age 18-39 to hear from them about their experience in the Church and their perspectives on important issues like relationships, family, and life. Bishop John Dolan would like to hear from as many young adults as possible — he wants to hear your voice! To accomplish this, the Diocese is in the process of a Synod of Young Adults, with both in-person gatherings and this online survey. (Synod is a Greek word that means journeying or walking together).

Please take a minute to listen to Bishop John’s message and then take this brief survey to give your input and allow your voice to be heard. We ask you to prayerfully consider each question and then offer your thoughts, experiences, and hopes. Please complete this survey only once. If you’ve already submitted it, there’s no need to respond again.

We invite you to join us on this Synodal journey! Thank you!

Reflection Before Beginning (Optional):

Spirit of truth and goodness,
be present within me as I begin.
Open my heart and mind to respond honestly.
Help me see with compassion, answer with sincerity,
and recognize the light of hope that connects us all.
May what I share here help build understanding, unity, and renewal in our community.
Amen.
